Family Bible Church was founded in 1988 by a group of Believers who felt the need for a non-denominational church at the Beaches that emphasized in-depth expositional teaching and one-to-one dicipleship. After renting for many years, the door was opened to purchase property and build at their present location.

Rev Gary Elliott, the pastor of Family Bible Church, is a 4th generation pastor. Pastor Gary attended Biola University in La Miranda, CA and worshiped at Grace Community Church pastored by Dr. John MacArthur. He received a Master of Ministry from Moody Bible Institue in Chicago, IL.

"Our desire," says Pastor Gary, "is not to take away from fundamental Bible believing churches, but rather to reach the unchurched. We desire to build strong stable families that are patterned after Biblical principles."
